1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using YouRemember.life, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered members, and contributors of content.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use YouRemember. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are eligible to enter a binding agreement.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.

4. Your content

You retain full ownership of all content you upload or create on YouRemember — your photos, voice recordings, letters, and memories are yours.

By uploading content, you grant YouRemember a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of operating the service for you. We do not claim ownership of your content and will never use it for any other purpose.

You are solely responsible for the content you submit. You must not upload content that:

• Belongs to someone else without their explicit permission
• Contains explicit, illegal, or harmful material
• Violates the privacy, copyright, or other rights of any third party
• Constitutes spam, malware, or any form of automated abuse

YouRemember does not actively monitor user-uploaded content, but we are not accountable for content uploaded by users. If content is reported to us as fraudulent, explicit, illegal, or otherwise in violation of these terms, we will review it and act to remove it promptly. 5. Sharing features

YouRemember allows you to generate shareable links for individual memories or albums. These links are accessible to anyone who holds them. You are responsible for managing and revoking any shared links you create.

Shared content remains subject to these Terms. Do not create shareable links for content that you do not have the right to share.

6. Paid plans and billing

YouRemember offers a free tier and an optional Supporter paid plan at $2.99 per month. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

You may cancel your Supporter subscription at any time from Account Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no further charges will be made after that date. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for unused days in a billing period, except where required by applicable consumer protection law.

If a payment fails, we will notify you by email. Continued failure to pay may result in your account reverting to the free tier. Your memories and content are never deleted due to a lapsed subscription.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified by email before any price change takes effect.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access, probe, or test the security of our systems
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest any content from the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the service or its servers
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Use anonymity tools (including VPNs, proxies, Tor, or similar means) to circumvent local laws or to obscure activity that would otherwise be prohibited under these terms or applicable legislation
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or derive source code from the service

8. Service availability

We aim to keep YouRemember available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

9. Limitation of liability

YouRemember is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

We strongly encourage you to use the Export feature regularly to maintain your own backup of your memories. We are not liable for data loss resulting from hardware failure, accidental deletion, or force majeure events.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through Account Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the Republic of Lithuania. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable EU law.
